Focus

  • Vietnam and Malaysia will remain the principal base; from which the well-qualified and highly experienced team of Vietnamese and expatriate professionals will progressively expand the geographical range and scope of exploration/mining developments in Southeast Asia.
  • Gold will remain the principal exploration metal; but will remain receptive to other value-enhancing opportunities.

Current Status

The company is currently operating its 500 tonnes per day gold processing plant at Bong Mieu, the first modern gold plant in Vietnam since the early 1940s. Olympus plans to embark on comprehensive exploration and feasibility studies programs in central Vietnam and East Malaysia during 2010; Bong Mieu, Phuoc Son and Tien Thuan in Vietnam and at the Bau Gold Project in East Malaysia near Kuching. The company management team is committed to increasing shareholder wealth and employee fulfillment in its quest to become a dominant player in Southeast Asia.
