Increased Gold Production Profile
We are producing gold and generating operating cash to fund a portion of the company’s future development. We have the potential to expand Vietnamese production to some 170,000 oz. by 2015. This production profile could be revised depending on feasibility studies outcomes that are in progress in and outside Vietnam.
World-class Potential at Bau
The Bau Gold Field has a mining history dating back to 1850 with historical production estimated at 3M oz. Olympus has a 80.53% controlling interest with an agreement to increase its ownership to 93.55% by 2013. Olympus believes Bau has the potential to be a world class gold project and is currently in full feasibility for Phase One development at Bau Central ( Jugan, Bekajang & Tai Ton).
Bau is an advanced exploration property and the Company plans to announce a resource update on its current NI 43-101 Resource in early 2012. A 20,000 meter drilling program consisting of exploration and resource holes was completed in 2011. An onsite independent laboratory is operating to allow a 48 hr turn around time for assays to allow rapid exploration of the property.
