David A. Seton — Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
- 25 years mining industry experience.
- 17 years Vietnam investment experience.
Mr. Seton's experience in the mining industry spans 25 years and includes 18 years establishing a presence in Vietnam including experience in the Vietnamese investment industry. In 1996 he acquired Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc., an inactive company, and in 1997 purchased the Bong Mieu Gold property in central Vietnam from Indochina Goldfields.
Colin Patterson — Corporate Technical Advisor
- 35 years experience in the international mining industry.
Mr. Patterson has 35 years of experience in the mining industry, which includes experience in areas of management, production, design, exploration, evaluation, construction and corporate. Colin has held the roles of Managing Director of Emperor Mines and General Manager of Renison Bill tin mine in Tasmania. In both these roles, Mr. Patterson was instrumental in returning operations to profit. He holds a mining engineering degree and an Honours degree in Commerce along with professional designation in a number of countries.
Charles Barclay — Chief Operating Officer
- 35 years mining operations experience.
Mr. Barclay has 35 years mining operations experience, including positions as Mine Development Manager of Kainantu Gold Mine (Highlands Pacific), Chief Operating Officer of Emperor Mines Ltd., and General Manager and Operations Manager of the Emperor Gold Mine (Fiji). His experience has provided a solid grounding in all aspects of open pit and underground mining,including, production, design, evaluation, construction, contract negotiation, and management.
Pamela Campagnoni — Chief Financial Officer
- 12 years financial experience.
Ms. Campagnoni received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. She went on to successfully obtain her CA designation in 1997 and received her CPA (Illinois) in 2000. Ms. Campagnoni spent ten years in the assurance practice with Ernst & Young LLP, leaving as a senior audit manager and the last two years with Barrick Gold Corp. as senior manager leading the accounting policy and continuous disclosure group.
Louis Montpellier of Gowlings Lafleur Henderson LLP — Corporate Secretary

Mr. Montpellier is a legal advisor to the mining industry with over 25 years experience in structuring mineral exploration and development companies. Mr. Montpellier is identified in the Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, the Lexpert Guide to the Leading 100 Industry Specialists in Canada, Who’s Who Legal, the International Who’s Who of Mining Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in Canada, as one of Canada's leading mining lawyers. Through his directorships, Mr. Montpellier also has direct experience in the mineral exploration and development business and in its related M&A transactions.
Rodney P. Jones — VP Exploration
- 40 years of geological experience.
Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Leicester (UK) with an Honours Degree in Geology in 1966. His career in exploration and mining industries spans 40 years and includes time spent in Zambia, Sierra Leona, Botswana, Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and South Africa. He has held numerous management positions including various stints as Chief Geologist (BCL Limited (Sierra Leona and Botswana), Agnew JV (Australia), Ok Tedi Ltd (Papua New Guinea)), Executive Manager Technical Services (Emperor Mines (Fiji)), and as a technical consultant to the West Australian State Government.
Peter Tiedemann — Vice President Corporate Affairs

Mr. Tiedemann has considerable financial, management and consulting experience spanning some 40 years. His work as a management consultant and his employment as company director, General Manager and Chief Financial Officer have involved a range of well known companies including Fortune 500 corporations, Canon NZ, Pitney Bowes NZ and DRG New Zealand Ltd, and also Telecom and Corrections NZ. Mr. Tidemann holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland.
